Jonathan Carver Moore presents Alvin Armstrong: Peer Pressure, a solo exhibition by the gallery’s fifth artist-in-residence, opening February 12. A painter dedicated to honoring the beauty, power, and complexity of the Black American community, Armstrong embraces the full spectrum of human experience—moving beyond narratives of trauma to foreground authenticity, resilience, and dignity in his work.
