From monumental statues and exquisite gold jewelry to objects from the recently rediscovered Golden City of Amenhotep III—many shown in North America for the first time—the exhibition explores the lives of the pharaohs\, the people who served them\, religious beliefs\, daily life\, and the elaborate rituals surrounding the afterlife.
