QUICK GUIDE: FOG Art 2023
There’s so much TERRIFIC art at FOG and for me, this year’s highlights included seeing Sarah Lucas’ (feat. FOG FAVES video 2) caricatured parts at Gladstone Gallery, and the cheeky Barbara Stauffacher Solomon (feat. FOG FAVES video 3) works at Volume Gallery.
SFMOMA’s FOG FORUM is considering purchasing Green Lips for Nature (1997) in the Stauffacher Solomon series (feat. FOG FAVES video 3). Will be exciting to see it in the museum’s permanent collection if acquired. Recently saw Liam Lee’s felted chair in SFMOMA’s Conversation Pieces show, which was spotted at FOG last year.
So if you missed FOG this year, make sure to mark your calendar for the third week of January in 2024!
💌 Did you attend this year’s FOG fair? What did you think? Let us know in the comments (in the Reviews section located on the third tab at the top of the page).

Vendors
The Park Life pop-up shop featured an assortment of cool items from their store and gallery in the Inner Richmond, which I always try to visit whenever I’m in that neighborhood.
In terms of on-site food and drinks, Jane cafe, A16 (artisanal pizza), and The Cordial (cocktails) all conveniently had kiosks with seating.

Fort Mason also has some great dining and drink options that are just a few steps from the FOG exhibition hall including:
