“From the 2024 Olympics to the renaissance of the WNBA and the global resurgence of F1, ‘sports culture’ is culture. This group show by Jonathan Carver Moore at Four One Nine explores sports’ role in our lives today and the unseen psychological aspects of winning, losing, and competing on athletes, fans, and spectators.”

The selection of works in VERSUS are EXCEPTIONAL and could have their own section in SFMOMA’s new exhibition, Get in the Game, which I’ll post about soon.
And it’s always a pleasure seeing a show at Four One Nine—a gorgeous, modern space with beautiful natural lighting, designed by Síol Studios, complete with a chef’s kitchen and lounge, and available for event rentals.
