Into absence, MIST is a solo exhibition by artist Pegan Brooke exploring what remains in the quiet space after loss. Using mist as both metaphor and medium, Brooke’s monochromatic, layered paintings evoke the ethereal threshold between presence and absence—where light, air, and matter blur. Through subtle shifts of tone and delicate, reflective brushwork, her works transform the experience of looking into one of perception and renewal, inviting viewers to dwell in the open, shimmering terrain where something new begins to emerge.
