Trina Michelle Robinson: Open Your Eyes to Water, curated by PJ Policarpio, is a two-venue solo exhibition presented by 500 Capp Street (the David Ireland House) and Root Division, featuring immersive, research-based installations that trace Black ancestry, migration, and memory through film, sound, printmaking, and living archival practices spanning Senegal, the American South, Chicago, and California.

Trina Michelle Robinson: Open Your Eyes to Water is on view at 500 Capp Street (SF Mission District) and Root Division (SF SoMa) from Feb. 11–May 16, 2026. **Opening Receptions on February 14, 2026 from 12:00 p.m.–3:00 p.m. at 500 Capp Street; 5:00 p.m.–7:00 p.m. at Root Division.

*500 Capp Street is open Friday and Saturday from 12:00 p.m.–5:00 p.m. *FREE Self-Guided Tours on Friday and Saturday during business hours. Guided Tours (60 min/$20) are available on Fridays at 4:00 p.m.

*Root Division is open Wednesday–Friday from 12:00 p.m.–6:00p.m. and SATURDAY BY APPOINTMENT ONLY from 2:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m.
