Convergence at NIAD Art Center explores how ideas cross-pollinate within the studio community, bringing together works by 45 NIAD staff members and studio artists across painting, printmaking, sculpture, fiber, performance, and sound.

The exhibition reflects how creative exchange grows through daily conversation, shared observation, and collaborative care, highlighting both artistic practice and the caregiving labor that sustains the NIAD community.

Together, the works form a portrait of an interconnected, evolving studio shaped by mutual support, inspiration, and creative osmosis.

Convergence is on view at NIAD (Richmond) from April 11–June 26, 2026.

Opening Reception: Saturday, April 11, 2026 from 1:00 p.m.–4:00 p.m., with an artist walkthrough at 2:00 p.m. (free and open to the public).
