Monet & Venice | March 21–July 26, 2026
Exhibition Details
Monet and Venice at the de Young Museum reunites more than 20 of Claude Monet’s luminous paintings of the Italian city—his first and only visit to Venice—alongside works from across his career, including the iconic Water Lilies. Presented with paintings by artists such as J. M. W. Turner and John Singer Sargent, the exhibition explores Venice as both subject and enduring source of artistic inspiration.
